Practice Pitch : The PGF practice pitches, when the fibrillated fibres are installed in one direction provides excellent pace, bounce and carry. When the installation is done with the fibres facing the bowler, it provides excellent grip and therefore purchase to the spin bowlers, while still offering bounce.

Bowling run-up & Fielding Areas :
In most practice facilities, the bowling run-up area (due to extensive usage) is with hardly any grass and the ground is hard and abrasive. With bowlers practicing on such surfaces over years, they develop severe repetitive-stress injuries. And therefore, by the time they are ready to play cricket at a competitive level, they are injury-prone or overall their careers are shorter and with more breaks.
With FieldTurf-Tarkett's revolutionary artificial grass, all these problems are solved comprehensively. This has been engineered specifically for professional (grass-based) sports like football, rugby etc., and replicates all the bio-mechanical properties of a superb grass surface.

Case Study: Fieldturf Indoor Cricket Facility In India
The M L Jaisimha 365 Indoor Cricket Academy-Hyderabad installed with the "Greatest Turf on Earth" - FieldTurf and the state of art equipment, was inaugurated on 7 th July-05 by Mr. Bishen Singh Bedi and Harsha Bhogle.
4500sft of FieldTurf has been installed at the bowlers run up area & the main Cricket pitch. This is a tremendous asset to the players while fielding & diving & perfect for bowlers using the run up area. FieldTurf with its patented mix of silica sand & rubber helps give the right type of grip & cushion, which causes almost no injuries & helps prolong the players' career. Players can dive & slide on FieldTurf, without any fear.
The Academy has been highly appreciated for its use of FieldTurf Artificial Grass, as well as other facilities by eminent cricketers like Sunil Gavaskar, Shivlal Yadav, Bishen Bedi, Azharuddin, Karsan Ghavri, Harsha Bhogle and many other experienced cricketers & cricket personalities.
The Hyderabad Ranji team, Services Ranji team, Haryana Ranji team etc., have all practiced here. In fact, a few sessions of the India "A" coaching camp (Australia tour) were also held at this facility. Players like V V S Laxman, Ambati Rayadu and M S K Prasad, practice regularly in the Academy.
The Academy conducted its first corporate tournament by the name of M L Jaisimha FieldTurf Corporate Cup. It has also hosted the 6 th National Indoor Cricket championship and many other major state and national level indoor cricket tournaments.
The Academy has a Gallery, Toilets, Changing rooms, Reception area & is Aircooled allowing play to go on for 24 x 7 for 365 days, even at night under Floodlights.
